EU Internet Domains Limited was established in 2005 with the purpose of providing registration services for the then newly launched EU Top Level Domain (TLD).
The EU TLD went though a sunrise period whereby organisations with prior rights, such as existing brands, were eligible to pre-book their domain name on provision of appropriate documentary proof.
We focused on providing professional domain name services for businesses and individuals looking to protect their online brand identity through the EU TLD during the sunrise period and shortly after during open registration.
EU Internet managed the EU registrations for most major blue chip corporations in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The vast majority of these corporations continue to be clients of ours.
In 2007, EU Internet Domains was named by EURid (the EU Registry) as being in the top 3% of registrars globally.
Now
These days, EU Internet continues to provide domain registration services via its corporate website. Customers continue to receive renewal services and customer care.
We no longer offer brand protection or consultancy as these services are no longer required in the liberalised open registration model adopted by the EURid.
If an EU domain is available it can now be registered without any legal documentation in real time via our website.
